ABOUT THE ARTIST
I consider myself a modern day impressionist. My bold colors and sweeping strokes are motivated by my affinity for my subjects, alive or inanimate. As an emotional painter, I strive to find the essence and soul in whatever it is I am painting. My medium of choice is oils.
Since early childhood, I have had a love affair with painting. Thus after raising
three children, I began to study formal painting, taking classes with various
teachers as well as taking courses at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
Some of the notable professors with whom I have studied are Edward Loper Sr.,
Joe Giordano, Marge Andruk, and Joseph D'Avole. I spend quite a bit of time traveling
abroad with each experience offering new challenges for my creative endeavors.
